Happy holidays from Prague!

I hope you’re all having an amazing Christmas!

I just got back to Prague to see my family for a few days which is fantastic.

It’s great to have a bit time off from the crazy schedule. I must have been very good this year as Baby Jesus (Czech Santa) brought me lots of amazing presents! Back home to England tomorrow just in time to get some more presents from Santa (English Baby Jesus)!

The Charles Bridge seagulls modeled for me and I thought I’d share it with you all!

My favorite restaurants in NYC

It’s that time of the year when all you think about is food! At least I do!

I like to get properly spoiled over the holidays and I try to forget a bit about my exercise routine for a short while.

To pick my favorite ‘treat’ restaurant in NYC isn’t an easy task, so expect lots and lots of updates from me on this theme! There’s just so much choice!

If you’re looking for the best New York cheesecake, I’d say ‘Veniero’s', or a cupcake ‘Baked by Melissa’, their tiny miracles are just genius! The best steak I’ve ever eaten? ‘Sparks’ and the best burger has to be ‘The Spotted Pig’, the blue cheese does the trick for me. My favorite coffee in the world is served at ‘Tarallucci E Vino’, whatever you’re looking for, let me tell you, you’ll definitely find it in NYC! Seriously the food rocks here!

This is the place you go for all kinds of great juices in New York. It’s full of yogis and healthy people from the East Village crowd.

I love it here, I always try to stock up on green juices for a great kick start to my day. They’re super fresh, amazingly tasty, healthy, very green and pretty much full of all things good. They last only two days as they do not include any preservatives, so you can stock up your fridge for just 48 hours at a time. Always ask them to pack it with some ice.

Amazing Charlotte Willer

Interview with Charlotte Willer

 I got to work with world-renowned make-up artist Charlotte Willer a few days ago in Paris. She also lives between two cities, Paris and New York. It’s always funny when you meet somebody and realize that your paths must have crossed so many times before, either in Paris’s ‘Pin Up’ studios or NYC’s Union Square, even somewhere completely off the beaten track. It’s such a small world’!

When I met her, I immediately noticed the great color of her deep red lipstick then my eyes slid curiously to her brush ensemble, all painted in happy colors. She calls them ‘happy brushes’.

Adela at Next

I’m Adela, a model who has been working and traveling for the past 10 years.

My ‘office’ can be a different location every day, from a small church in Central London to a rock in Marrakech, a boat in Bora Bora or a studio in New York City.

My career takes me to places I never dreamed of when growing up in the Czech Republic and I get to discover many new and amazing destinations, from a very local point of view. I get to meet and work with the most amazing and interesting people who briefly share my adventure and influence me greatly.
