There’s never enough colour in the winter time. Sometimes a pink lip will make the whole day brighter and happier.
Today I’m wearing Schiap, a semi matte pink colour by NARS. Get it here.
Have a colourful Tuesday!

My interview for Bella Magazine is out today! I talk about my favourite parts of my job, traveling, how I prepare for a photo shoot, what my future plans are and if ageing in modeling matters? Read my interview here: Adela Capova
Me and Snoopy, we are both wishing you a happy THANKSGIVING!!!
To all of you in Europe, it’s always nice to be thankful, so even-though it’s not a holiday there, think of one thing you’re thankful for.
Have a relaxing, joyful, lazy, fun, cozy, cheerful and amazing holiday with your families!
Lots of love,
Adela x
This is my own recipe for homemade bars, they’re great to eat post workout to bring your energy levels back to normal. I also like to take them with me while travelling, as there’s not enough healthy food available on the planes and at the airports. It should also make for a nice treat for your Thanksgiving travels over the next few days.
They are very simple to make and are delicious. Do not snack on these regularly though as they are high in fructose and essential fats, too many will add the inches. They are great when you feel run down, after exercising or as a treat. Eat as many as you want but don’t say I haven’t warned you!
It’s warm, it’s sunny and palm trees with the Hollywood sign are your background. Need I say more? Los Angeles!
This city can sometimes be a bit tricky as there’s not much you can cover on foot, even-though I’m one of those rare people who actually still loves to walk in LA when I can, but having a car makes one thing easier, and that’s wearing heels.
A car means no need to sweat through the city in your flip flops and do the quick high heel switch in elevators in order to look put together at castings. One pair of shoes will do! Castings in Los Angeles are just a tiny bit more fun!
Here’s a little preview of an interview I did with, what I think is, one of the best blogs out there, ‘Your Soul Style’.
Thank you so much Jenny for featuring me and for such a lovely intro. I feel so special!
I had a blast doing this, spending time with the ‘Your Soul Style’ team and learning about their take on fashion, the psychology behind it and the message they’re putting out there.

Here’s what I had to say about my style:
Adela, what is your soul style?
My soul style is very low key and must be comfortable. I like to express myself with what I’m wearing. I like to show my personality and it represents the mood I’m in. I’m not crazy on following fashion trends. I believe that clothes should not over-shine you as a person, they should complete you.
How do you describe your style?
I like to keep things to a minimum and love wearing ‘clean’ and fresh looks. I’d say I have a classic, minimalistic style with a twist. I love the play of different materials and enjoy combining textures. Since I’m an enthusiastic “clothes-maker”, I stress about the quality of fabrics and construction. I understand the process so it influences the way I shop and what I purchase. I enjoy sourcing fabrics, designing patterns and eventually sewing my own designs. I’ve been doing this since I was 10, when I designed clothes for my Barbies. It makes me happy and is a little meditation.

I’ve recently become a member of the ‘New York Road Runners’, their program allows me to ‘collect runs’, these are ‘Marathon Qualifiers’ and once I’ve done enough, plus a little charity work, I’ll be guaranteed entry into the TCS New York City Marathon 2014. Today I ran my 6th qualifier!!
I really appreciate the NYRR program and would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone who’s up for trying to do the 26.3 miles through the 5 boroughs of this great city.
Can you believe it though? Not only, you have to haul your ass those long 26 miles and 385 yards, before you even start you need to work real hard to be allowed to run it, before the marathon training even begins!
Luckily, I’m one of those people who has voluntarily decided to follow these rules but is actually loving it!
There must definitely be many more like me out there, crazy enthusiasts and happy runners, your emails prove it! I received so many of them from you guys, asking about running.
Instead of replying to each one of you, I decided to put your questions together and answer them here. Hopefully my answers will be helpful for my co-runners and we can motivate the non-runners to put themselves out there as well:
