Happy Women’s Day! Here’s a little quote from journalist Mignon McLaughlin that I use to toughen myself up once in a while:
“Women may be afraid of mice and of murder, but they are afraid of very little in between.”
Have an amazing weekend.
Another one of my favorite SUPERFOODS. The ‘pesto perfecto’ works with everything and goes on anything. Have a bit of brown rice left over? Mix it with ‘pesto perfecto’ and you have a superfood meal to indulge in. Sprinkle it on your salads, on fish or a soup and you end up with a delicious, rich and healthy meal.
What do you need?
I’m not a big make-up person. I’ve always been fortunate enough to have a professional make-up artist on hand to do my make up for events , so when it comes to doing it myself I just go for something simple, if any make up at all, perhaps because I’m lazy?
I’ve had a few emails from you guys asking for make-up tips, so here’s my number one:
I found that red lipstick and a bit of mascara can do the trick brilliantly, meaning I’m good to go with not much effort at all. It took me a while to find the perfect red color, which would work with my skin tone in all seasons, so I could literally own just a lipstick. I found it at the airport, sadly where I do all my make-up shopping, it’s No. 999 (cool, right!) by Dior. You can find it here.
There, my make-up tip done!
PS: I’m preparing an interview with my friend, green make-up artist Kristen, and she’ll give us some great make-up and beauty tips soon, so stay tuned. For now, check my Charlotte Willer interview here, one of the biggest make-up artists out there, who also knows how to rock a great red.
