It’s been another crazy week in NYC, I was trying to cure a flu with loads of ginger which works magic, but shooting lingerie and swimwear all week in a draughty studio, somehow didn’t help the fact that I was feeling like hell. Anyways, I must be much better now as I’m thinking about food… AGAIN! So on that note and following my recent trip, below I’ve listed some of my favorite LA restaurants, cafes, delis and diners. There seems little point saying that I’ll be updating these soon, cause you know me, I am such a gourmet!
Enjoy!
As promised (sometime ago!) here are few images from the Frank Provost hair campaign that have been just published.
Do you remember Charlotte Willer? Well, this shoot was in Paris and it was her amazing talent that transformed me into what you see in these shots! How I wish she could travel with me everywhere to do my make-up!
The campaign was shot by the amazing photographer, and my name sake, Adel Awad.

….is another lovely green juice place in NYC. Do you remember Liquiteria on the East Side? Well this is very much the West Side equivalent, so if you find yourself over there, running around in the Meatpacking District and in urgent need of a ‘green juice fix’, to freshen you and make you feel healthy, One Lucky Duck in Chelsea Market is the right choice. I find that their juice tastes slightly different every day, which is always a nice surprise. I guess they vary the ingredients, or maybe it’s just me?
There’s also a tiny second location with just 3 tables in Gramercy, yet another place to stock up on your juice collection. What would we do without green juices? Seriously… you’re with me on this by now yeah?
It is a bit pricey, so if you have taken my advice and invested in a blender at home don’t forget about my recipe and try it yourself as well.
Have ‘one lucky day’!

I know shoes again…but aren’t they a girl’s best friend? Oh no, that’s diamonds…. Well, the second best friend for sure…
Maybe you remember ‘spoiled Adela’? You heard about her in the (Malin+Goetz) story a little while back. Well, she’s back and this time she needed a pair of heels she could wear for her out and abouts in the City of New York. Yes, you’re guessing right, she didn’t have enough shoes….. IF YOU’RE A MAN READING THIS, STOP NOW!
I search all around the world for shoes as I travel, it’s now a habit! I was ecstatic to find these French beauties hiding away in New York’s fabulous Soho! These ones are keepers, that I know will turn into classics as the seasons pass.
I’ve got to run now (well, walk as fast as I can without breaking my ankle), it’s been a crazy week, but I promise more regular posts from now on, thanks so much for your lovely comments btw!
Have a lovely evening! We’ve got a warm one in NYC, 31 degrees! In April, heaven!
